Transfer Beach in Ladysmith

I don't know where all the great beaches are around here, so Mike sent us off to find transfer beach for a fun day. It was awesome :) The play ground was huge and there was lots of fun things to do. Owen had fun digging in the rocks for crabs. He even got pinched by a big one, and then went on a smashing crabs spree. We then had to go find something else to play :) We spent all morning there and left right before the rain. It was great!

Mike you are a Genius!

Owen has this great fire truck car that he rides around the house in. He loves it. It had these black plastic wheels with little balls in them so it was always rattling. Well Mike had had enough of that noise, so he took the wheels off and put his roller blade wheels on it. Now this thing has never gone smoother and faster with one push. Owen loves it even more :)

Mom, Dad & Lucy

This past week has been a lot of fun and went by much to fast. It was hard saying good bye to my parents this morning. They will be serving a mission for our church and i won't see them for 2 years. I have been very blessed in the fact that I usually don't go more then 6 months with out seeing at least one member of my immediate family. It's hard to think that I won't be able to hug and kiss my parents in 2 years, but I really am so happy and excited for them and there choice to go serve the Lord full-time. We are all on pins and needles to find out exactly where they will be serving.

Rucy...I mean Lucy was a joy and a pleasure. She played so well with Owen. It's hard playing with someone when EVERYTHING is there's. Owen has perfected the word "mine" :) Thank you Lucy for helping me make cookies and holding Lyla for me. You introduced the world of Sponge bob square pants to me, and I do admit it was kinda funny sometimes.

I love you all and miss you already. Well I actually started missing you yesterday.

Mike in all his Glory!

Yesterday we had one of Mike's co-workers come and place rocks in our yard. He then showed Mike how to use the machine and so Mike continued to work in it from 3:30pm- 10:30pm. I think it was the best days of his life......besides the day he married me......I hope :) He turned 29 on the 8th and we went on a special date. Happy Birthday Mike!

Lyla Rae 4 Months

We got a package in the mail today! Thank you Ken, Lori and family! The blanket, bibs and clothes are adorable and they all fit Lyla perfect right now :)

This little girl is wonderful! She started taking a bottle this month so Mike and I will be able to go out on a date tonight. She is grabbing her feet and rolling to her side, and has the cutest wispy hair over her left ear.
